Guests pay us the deposit when they book. You collect the rest of the price from each guest directly.
Under Payment and policy, say how guests pay you in "How guests pay you the rest". For example, a check by mail or a card payment link. Guests see it only after they book. You need it to publish.
Under "When is the rest due?" you choose when guests arrive, or 14, 30, 45, 60 or 90 days before the retreat starts. With "Choose a date" you can pick your own, up to 180 days before. Each guest's confirmation shows the date, and your bookings page shows what each guest owes you. With "Remind guests before the rest is due" on, we email each guest 7 days before the due date. Guests who already paid can ignore it. You can turn it off for any retreat.
To cancel a guest's booking, open it from your Bookings page and choose "Cancel this booking". You can do this at any time, for example if they haven't paid you. You must say why; we send your reason to the guest. Their deposit is refunded only if you cancel inside their free cancellation period. That's 72 hours after they book. If they book close to the retreat, this time is shorter: it ends at the end of the day before the retreat starts. Otherwise it stays with us as our fee.
You refund money guests paid you yourself, under your policy for the rest. If you cancel the retreat, you must refund every guest everything they paid you, in full, within 5 business days.
