Some parts of the site save small pieces of information in your browser. Here is each one and why.
Needed for the site to work
Sign-in cookies: keep you signed in to your account. Kept until you sign out, or for up to 400 days if you stay signed in.
Sign-in email cookie: remembers the email you asked for a sign-in code for, so you can type the code. Kept 20 minutes.
Signed-out cookie: tells the page you land on that you just signed out, so it can say so. Kept 1 minute.
Booking hold cookie: holds your spots while you pay; you can have up to 5 at once. Kept 3 hours.
Pay link cookie: lets you pay your balance from the link in our email without signing in. Kept 1 hour.
Checkout details: keeps your checkout details and the names for each spot on your device, so a refresh doesn't lose them. Kept up to 24 hours. It is removed once you've booked, or when you next open checkout after that.
Listing editor drafts: keeps a host's unsaved listing edits on their device. Kept until the edit is saved.
Search marker: notes that you just ran a search, so the page can move you to the results. Kept a few seconds.
Cloudflare Turnstile: set by Cloudflare when a form checks that you're a person. Kept for as long as Cloudflare sets it.
Stripe: set by Stripe, which loads at checkout, to take payments safely and stop fraud. Kept for as long as Stripe sets it.
Your preferences
Recently viewed: remembers the last retreats you looked at on this device, to show them again on the home page. Kept until you choose Clear on the home page or clear your browser's data. It keeps the last 12.
Saved on this device: remembers the retreats you save before you sign in, so we can add them to your account when you sign in. Kept until you sign in (then they move to your account) or clear your browser's data. It keeps the last 50.
Near you ZIP code: remembers the ZIP code you searched by, or that "Use my location" found, so the home page shows what's near you. "Forget my ZIP code" on the home page removes it. Kept 90 days.
